Pledging - An Important Note from the Blogmeister

You may now notice that there are two sets of pledge paddles on this blog. This may confuse you at first, but your choice is really simple! Just click on the paddles for the school of your choice. Mr. Frei graduated from Loomis Chaffee (Windsor, CT), as did Brian Rooney, who has been a friend of Mr. Frei's since their earliest days. Of course you know that Mr. Frei teaches at the Boys' Latin School. No matter which school you choose, the money will go to the scholarship funds there.

Clicking on the paddles takes you to a secure page where you can make your tax-deductible donation, and you will receive a nice letter from the particular school thanking you for your generous gift.

Loomis Chaffee also has a way to give if you prefer not to donate on line with a credit card. You can see your options at

No matter which school you choose (or if you should choose both!), make sure to designate somewhere that it is for the Al Freihofer or Brian Rooney scholarships. Or you can just put "ROW CANADA!" and it will definitely make it to the correct fund. Let's blow out these pledge paddles!
